Avenue United 🆚 Bridge Utd 2-2 (Draw)

Home side can feel a little hard done by. Colin Frawley put the home side in front midway through the first half with a deserved opener only to concede an equaliser shortly before halftime. Avenue dominated most of the second half and went ahead for a second time with a superb finish by Colin Frawley for his second of the match. Heartbreaking finish to the game when the Bridge scored to make it 2-2 at the death. Credit to Bridge United for not giving it up .

Avenue United 🆚Corofin

Avenue Under 14B were away to Corofin Harps this evening. In what was a very sporting and competitive game Avenue were unlucky to be 2:0 down at the break. In the second half with the wind behind them Avenue grew more and more into the game. However some strong Corofin defending kept Avenue at bay. As the game entered the last quarter Corofin lead 3:1 with Avenue piling on the pressure. As Avenue pushed players forward Corofin worked to catch Avenue on the break. In the last few minutes of the game two late goals from Corofin lead them to a somewhat flattering 5:1 victory.

Well done to our lads this evening for a strong team performance and thanks to Corofin for a great game
