Sunday Morning Sunshine ☀️ for the A Team’s trip to Lynch Park, in Shannon . Our lads started brightly and were rewarded early in the first half when Simon Cuddihy’s header from a corner deflected off Thomas Hehir to put ‘The Avenue’ 1 up. Soon after half time , The Avenue lads doubled their lead when Mark Roche made no mistake from the spot after being fouled in the box . We began to gain possession and control of the game as the second half went on . 2 quick fire goals midway through the second half from our striker Elias Kunz made sure that the 3 points were returning to Roslevan . Credit to Shannon Town A who stuck at it and continued to create chances for themselves but they found Avenue‘s James Tierney in fine form.

Thanks to Match Official Pa Gleeson who allowed the game to be played in a positive manner .

Overall a great team performance from our lads, capping a fine Away Win off with a well deserved clean sheet .
