Commiserations to our Junior Team who exit the Munster Junior Cup competition at the last 16 stage. With a depleted squad available due to injuries and illness, Avenue were dealt a further blow only 2 minutes into the game, when Conor Mullen had to be rushed to hospital with a shoulder injury.
Avenue did however take an early lead in the game , Elias Kunz making a great run and providing an assist for Stevie Jordan to tap in.

2 set pieces proved decisive for the Waterford opposition as they march on to the Quarter Finals of the competition .
