Our Junior B Team made the trip to Newmarket this morning knowing that they could clinch the league title with a win and that is what they did . A convincing team performance from all involved .

Our Under 13 Yellow squad made the trip to Sixmilebridge this evening and came up against an in form Bridge United side . Our Boys took the lead following some great interplay from our midfielders and a good finish from Oran Mangan . However , our Boys found themselves 2-1 down at half time after failing to deal with 2 long range free kicks into the box and the opposition attackers pounced . We equalised early in the second half from a tidy finish from Daithi Ginnane . We regained the lead following some great work and run from Patrick Cauley who passed a lovely ball through to Oran Mangan and he  made no mistake and grabbed his second of the evening . James Cosgrove who worked tirelessly all game got himself on the scoresheet following another tidy finish . 4-2 to the Avenue and that is how it ended . 
Well done to all Players and Volunteer coaches involved and Thanks to all who attended to show their support . Thanks also to Match Official John Kelly for taking charge of the game #NoRefNoGame #Respect
