Our A Team returned to domestic action on Saturday evening where they made the trip to Shannon for their opening league cup clash with Shannon Olympic .

Well done to our Under 15A squad who booked their place into a Cup Final after overcoming a resilient and determined Shannon Town team . The Avenue boys took the lead through a Ryan Mahoney goal , however , 2 quick goals had the opposition ahead . The game drew level before half time through a Daniel Keena strike. 2-2 it remained for the second half and for the majority of extra time . With penalties looming large , our boys were rewarded a free kick . Up stepped Under 14 player Mark Regan to curl the ball to the back of the net and send the Avenue boys to the Under 15 Division 1 Cup Final . Well done to all Players and coaches involved and Thanks to Shannon Town for such an entertaining cup game .

Our Under 13 Yellow squad welcomed a strong Shannon Town team to Roslevan this morning . Great to see the Under 13 boys back in action again .

Lifford AFC 🆚 Avenue United Red 

🏟️Steeles Rock Park 

⌚️Kickoff 11am 

Our Under 13 Red squad made the short trip to Steeles Rock Park to play against a very good Lifford AFC team . Unfortunately for our boys , it was indeed the hosts who came out on top in this one . Nonetheless it was great to see 2 of our Under 13 squads back in action this morning after a couple of weeks with no games. 

Well done to all our Players and volunteer coaches who were involved on Saturday 👏👏
