Our Under 14 Girls welcomed St Pats AFC to Roslevan on Saturday afternoon. We found ourselves a goal down within 2 minutes . The Avenue Ballers created numerous chances but unfortunately couldn’t find the back of the net . When it looked like one of those days , with 5 minutes to go , up stepped Sadbh Cooney with a rocket of a goal to the top corner to level the game. 


Friday 21st June

Avenue United Green (1) 🆚 Bridge United B (3)

⌚️Kickoff 6:30pm 

Our under 13 Green team welcomed a good Bridge United B team to Roslevan on Friday evening. Credit to our boys who kept going right until the final whistle .

Avenue United Red (2) 🆚 Tulla United A (3)

Our Under 13 Red squad hosted a strong Tulla United A Team to Roslevan . Our boys found themselves 2-0 down early on. Credit to our boys who never gave up and managed to get a goal back before half time from a very good strike from Ian Bradish.  The Avenue Boys equalised when Donnacha Scanlan latched on to a through ball and finished nicely past the Tulla Goalkeeper . With only a couple of minutes to go Tulla United managed to get the winning goal from a powerful header from a corner . Disappointment for our boys but it was a super team performance to come from 2 goals down . 

Thanks to all our volunteer coaches who were involved with their respective squads over the weekend and to all those who came out to support the players .
